Even though you don’t say how old you are, your email sounds as if it’s written by someone very young (mid to late teens). From the age of 13-19 any man who’s 7 yrs older is going to be too experienced for you because there is such a difference in life experience; he will have had MUCH MORE life experience than you. So, the relationship will just fizzle out with time. When you’re in your early to mid 20′s the age gap doesn’t matter nearly as much.

In your case – since you feel you’re boring him- it’s better to step back& make friends with other people& take the focus off this man. It could be you’re not boring him but you have low self-esteem. Either way, you’re too young to be seriously involved with anyone, so it’s better to cool things for the time being. Plenty of time for serious boyfriends in the future.

Age isn’t necessarily a problem, but the chances are if you are that much younger he probably loves you more as a younger sibling than a potential relationship. Wait and see how your feelings pan out – sometimes the overwhelming sense of love we feel for our friends translates into something stronger for a while in our heads, then dies down again. Eventually, if you never shake this feeling, talk to him about it. Be mature and say that you are friends first, but would there ever be a possibility of you two ever being together. See what he says.

Hi, im 16 years old and i have just left school. i have been crushing on my maths teacher for 2 years now. i was 14 at the time and this boy was 21 we used to talk on msn all the time but i used to feel paranoid i was annoying him this is natural its your mind messing with you its like having a younger brother or sister there annoying? so automatically you think because your younger he will think your annoying x

The age difference does not matter whatever anyone says but if he dosn’t like you there is nothing you can do. You can show him how much you care but you have to KNOW your in love and if your under sixteen don’t go voicing this effection you have for him or he WILL get in trouble and if you truly love him you won’t put him at risk.
I know what its like, i’m not attracted to boys my age but extremly older men, i got bullied for a whole year for that and i would’nt want you to go through what i did. But no matter what anyone says age is just a number and if you love someone it dosnt matter. If he’s to experienced thats good, i find older men can look after you more if they love you too.

hey im in a similar situation i just turned 17 and i really like this guy who is 23. im so confused because usually when older guys (even 19) hit on me i brush them off as creepy pedophiles. But this guy, who is super old is just idk perfect! He wasnt creepy at all! infact he just wanted to be my friend! he is so smart and corrects my english papers and listens to me all the time. He apologizes whenever he says something remotly sexual or flirty. We talk on the phone all night and I have told him things I havent told anyone before! even my sister.
